The wines
Each vintage has diffèrentes characteristic according to the soil, the age of the vine and its wine making.

 

Cuvée Réserve 2001

Type of vine : 100 % frank Cabernet
Vines 60 year old exits of a soil argilo-limestone.
Output of 45 hl/ha.

Wine making : The cuvaison lasted 21 days
Breeding out of barrels of oak for 10-12 month.

Tasting : Intense color ruby with the purplished reflections. Fruity and wooded nose with vanilla notes.
The mouth is charnue and has a very good persistence.
Wine of guard.

Gastronomy : Game, red meats, cheeses.


 

Vieilles Vignes 2002

Type of vine : 100 % frank Cabernet.
Vines from 25 to 50 years exits of "sands" and "tuffs".

Wine making : 19 days Cuvaison.

Tasting : Beautiful color ruby. Intense nose with red fruit aromas.
The mouth is full with molten tannins. This wine has a good persistence in mouth.

Gastronomy : Red and white meats, cheeses.



 

 

 

Jeunes Vignes 2002

Type of vine : 100 % frank Cabernet.
Vines from 5 to 25 years generally resulting from "sands".

Wine making : 15 days cuvaison.

Tasting : Beautiful color ruby. Its nose, with much of freshness, recalls currant or blackcurrant.
In mouth, the attack is frank. The wine flexible and is balanced.

Gastronomy : Pork-butcheries, fish, white meats, cheeses.
